About ME

Raised by a community-driven Latina and a successful-yet-goofy midwestern father in suburbs of snowy Minnesota, I am fiercely passionate, ambitious, and joyous in all I do. As a child, you could always find me entertaining: performing for my siblings, crafting wild stories at the dinner table, dancing at the local studio, and eventually, finding my way to the stage at the age of 10.

I have been lucky enough to follow my dreams all the way to Washington, DC, which is where I now call home! And, theatre is my life-- it's where I work, who I am, and where I have found my community. The stories I am drawn to most are colorful, new or re-imagined, socially-driven, bold, and full of heart. Whether it's devising, developing new works, TYA, movement-based pieces, puppetry, commedia dell'arte, Shakesphere, gelling as an ensemble, or performing for the back row in a musical, I am collaborative, willing, and ready to play.

In 2024, I won a Helen Hayes award for This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing at Theater Alliance, directed by Johamy Morales. That same year, I was nominated for Best Ensemble in a Musical for In the Heights at NextStop Theatre Company. I have been proud to continue working in DC and beyond: travelling across the country on the Kennedy Center's TYA National Tour of Look Both Ways, playing Mimi in RENT for 5,000 people at the M&T Bank Exchange at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, and even returning home for productions and readings in Minneapolis to pay homage to the stages that raised me.

Beyond the stage, you can find me birdwatching, at the library, out at a jazz concert, singing at Sid Gold's Request Room, and generally, with my gente.
